What's your take on the treatment of the people on the Gaza strip. Many believe the Israeli laws segregate them on a level close to Apartheid but others say it's necessary because the sheer mass of Muslim religious extremists who refuse the consider compromise make the area too dangerous to control with any leniency at all. 11:15 PM

Beginning a New Comics Project

So after two and a half years of working on the 180 some or so strips of laughingwarlock, I've decided to move onto a different project.
I've put my heart and soul into each one of those strips and enjoyed every minute of it, but it was just time to move on. The comics were essentially a re-make of the twenty or so strips I worked on with my friend in high school, accompanied with a vague plot outline I thought up during a Biology lab. Since then I've taken drawing and writing classes and my abilities as a cartoonist have vastly improved. I better understand my strengths and weaknesses creatively and I think I can use what I've learned to create something much better if I start fresh.
Of course I'm also take four science courses this semester, so yeah there's that >_>
Here's my plan going forward. I'm currently plotting out a long form series that so far I'm really exited about. But I don't want shy away from the updates on my website completely while it's in development. I also don't want to over reach myself with my comics when I still have a hefty course load that I need to devote time to. So, in place of laughingwarlock, we'll be running Reír a Morir!
I already have the first three strips of Reír a Morir on my deviantart page and as you can probably tell I don't need to spend that much time on the drawing aspect of the comic. So starting Friday I'll be updating my webcomic twice a week. I have a simple storyline in mind that it will run until the end of the year and then hopefully the WIP will be ready. At least that's the plan. We'll see how it goes!

I mean, only the pit and the stem on top are inedible, it's delicious to eat, succulent but not messy like a mango, and it's good for you!
The only problem is that insects get in them really easily so you have to buy them after they've been loaded with insectisides. But that's nothing a little rinsing couldn't fix!
